1. I’m a small-time vinyl collector. I mostly collect performers such as The Cure, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, etc. I was excited to receive this special addition of The Smiths “The Queen is Dead” LP. I’m not an audiophile, but the records sound great to me. I enjoy the “Live in Boston” vinyl. The packaging is also of high /5().

4. The only Smiths album I owned & loved was Meat is Murder - don't know why I'd never looked into their other stuff, but after reading some reviews, decided to buy Queen is Dead. I played it, then immediately played it again, then played several cuts, then played the whole thing again, and wondered why I'd deprived myself of this LP for over 20 yrs!/5().

6. Apr 12,  · If you're referring to the vinyl reissues out of the EU that came in the box sets, I'd say no. The mastering is compressed and the vinyl was cut too loud, so you get bits of distortion in multiple places. Off the top of my head, 'Cemetry Gates' and 'Stop Me If ' are good examples of this distortion.
