  1. Ain’t Misbehavin’ is a musical revue with a book by Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby, Jr., and music by various composers and lyricists as arranged and orchestrated by Luther Henderson. It is named after the song by Fats Waller (with Harry Brooks and Andy Razaf), “Ain’t Misbehavin'”.

  6. I was tempted to leave Fats Waller until I return to my Cream of The Crate vinyl reviews, but I love this Cd. The CD is titled “ Aint Misbehavin’ ” and was released on Author: Rob Greaves.

  8. Arranger: Bill Holman. When this set (reissued on CD) was recorded, Hank Jones was the pianist in the Broadway show Ain't Misbehavin', a revue that celebrated Fats Waller's music. Jones never sounded like Waller, being a swing-to-bop transition player rather than a stride pianist, and he makes no effort to copy Fats during this brief program.
  9. This bargain CD set has exactly the same music as the much-heralded "If You Got To Ask, You Ain't Got It!" -- but without that set's impressive booklet. Disk 1 features Fats playing his own compositions; Disc 2 is instrumentals with Fats on piano or occasionally organ (Fats was the first organist in jazz) in a group or playing solo; Disk 3 has Fats singing the compositions of others/5(4).
